- You can take your eyes off her, she’s as out of your league as it gets my friend

- There’s no harm in looking, is there ?

- If the look is followed by hope you can be sure there’s a hell of a harm.

- Why do you say she’s off limits ?

- Hmm, well … let me think… she’s the prom queen, president of the homecoming committee and the most popular girl in school. I’d say those are damn good reasons.

- None of these change my perspective; you don’t know what lies underneath them.

- I’m pretty sure what lies underneath is the most fantastic blond teenager in the history of high school.

- It doesn’t impress me.

- Oh, I’m sorry mister ‘’ I´m too cool to be impressed’’, but something tells me she is the one not impressed by you. In fact I could bet my whole allowance that she doesn’t even know you exist.

- That’s even better.

- What are you talking about ?

- I prefer to work undercover.

- Well, oh my God… I definitely sense some lunacy going on here. How will you get her to go out on a date with you ‘’working undercover’’ ?

- Who said I want to go on a date with her ?

- Well, huh… your endless stare ?

- I did stare my friend, but for other reasons. Did you see the look of emptiness on her face? Did you see how lonely she looked when her friends said goodbye ? What do you think may happen to her next year when school is over, when there will be no more proms, no more crownings, when she will be just another good looking girl ? High school will be a fond memory for her, and it might as well leave a void in her soul. All this social structure she so proudly reigns over will be gone.

- Wow, you do seem worried about her future.

- Well, I guess it’s really none of my business, but I would like to help when she needs. We’re all fellow human beings after all, are we not ?!

- I guess we are.
